Did you know that 1 in 4 of the working-aged population are disabled and a lot of the changes we make for disabled colleagues and customers benefit us all?

Join Alice (CEO) and Dan (Associate Consultant) for a day of creativity and fun, while they share their lived experience and expertise on the topics of disability and neurodivergence.

Why work with us?

Alice brings her lived experience of disability and neurodivergence and her expertise in access and inclusion. As a consultant, Alice delivers workshops for organisations big and small that focus on disability, chronic illness, and neurodivergence in the workplace.

Dan, founder of Engagement Consultancy, brings his own lived experience as well as his expertise as a facilitator, leadership development coach, and consultant. Dan has worked with high-performing teams to create workplaces that thrive.

As well as Lego Serious Play, and User Manual For Me methodologies we will also use a variety of facilitation techniques, exercises and activities.

What does your next away day look like?

Each organisation is different, so we love creating something that works for you, the below is just an example agenda that we’ve recently delivered.

Pre-learning - around 90 mins of prep-time so that colleagues can come ready for discussions and engagement, and have created their user manuals.

9.00 - 9.15 AM - Introduction and icebreaker

9.15 - 10.15 AM - Session one - Understanding of disability and neurodivergence in the workplace

10.30 - 12.00 PM - Session two - Unlocking accessibility and inclusive work culture through Lego Serious Play.

12.15 - 13.00 PM - Session three - What are the barriers and solutions to change?

13.00 PM - 14.00 PM - Lunch

14.00 PM - 15.30 PM Session four - “User manual for me”

15.45 - 16.30 PM - Session five - Priotising actions

Post-event: Outcomes and resources shared with the team.

Throughout - we use bespoke video case studies that represent the wider intersectionality of disabled voices. Where possible, our case studies come from within your sector, or discuss challenges that you as an organisation face.
